QuestBridge: A Hidden Gem for Low Income Students

Blog posts Template (4)

Do you have a teen who is applying to colleges next year? If you have an upcoming senior who is high-achieving and motivated but is from a low-income family, you may want to look into QuestBridge. QuestBridge is a wonderful program that serves this unique student population.

My twins both applied through QuestBridge and became finalists in the program. My son eventually matched with Hamilton and became a QuestBridge scholar.

I love this program and often sing its praises. For this upcoming admission cycle (2023 – 2024), Simplify will take on two homeschooled students free of charge and support them through the application process at QuestBridge from start to finish.

If your know a teen that would be interested in this, please check the qualifications for QuestBridge. If the student and family qualify, we require 2 things. First, the student needs to contact us and tell us a bit about their academic history, why they would like to apply through QuestBridge, and their college goals. Secondly, we need proof of QuestBridge eligibility from the family to make sure the student will qualify.

Feel free to share this info with any homeschool families you think might be a good match. We only have room for 2 students and will accept students in the order they reach out to us (assuming they meet the requirements).

For more information on QuestBridge and their partner schools, please visit their website, where they have a wealth of information for you and your teen.
