Spotlight on Global Perspective Studies

Blog posts Template (1)

Global Perspective Studies, or GPS as we call it, is a secular humanities core for the high school student. If you are looking for something different for high school than GPS just might be it. With Global Perspective Studies we wanted to create a high school program that would do more and offer more to your student.

 Global Perspective Studies…

  • is secular
  • is challenging
  • features diverse authors
  • has a wide variety of writing assignments
  • is adaptable to lots of profiles of students

Global Perspective Studies is worth 2 full high school credits, one for English and one for history. The program is available as a download for $99. Individual units can be adapted to provide a semester elective study of a specific place and are $30 each.

Core One of GPS was released last spring and is a study of Africa, The Middle East, India, and East Asia. Core Two will be out in spring of 2020 and will focus on European history. Core Three and Four will be released in 2021 and 2022 and will cover US History and Modern History.

In addition to GPS we also offer writing feedback for your student which is a wonderful benefit for the busy homeschool parent. Read more about this service here.

If you would like more information on GPS please check out our FAQ and listen to our podcast where Farrar and Jill discuss GPS in more detail. Finally you may want to read through the user guide to get even more information on the program.

Want to see samples or ready to purchase? Visit the GPS page. Want additional support throughout the year? Then head over to Facebook and join our GPS group.
