Who Doesn’t Need a Homeschool Consultant?

blog post image (4)

Isn’t all the information and help we can give you available for free on the internet already?

Let’s be honest. Yes, absolutely.

Just like homeschooling isn’t for everyone, working with a consultant isn’t for everyone. Homeschoolers tend to be fiercely independent. There’s a can do spirit among many homeschoolers. Researching philosophies, methods, curricula, and ideas for hours on end is part of the fun for a lot of homeschool parents. If you live for that stuff and you’re getting the results you want, then consultants aren’t right for you.

Some families have kids who are cheerful learners who don’t face many challenges. There are kids who are happy to learn and don’t struggle with schoolwork. Those families don’t necessarily need a consultant.

Some families are naturally organized. They find their balance between schoolwork and free time, between schoolwork and family. They keep things neat and don’t have trouble making routines or keeping up with paperwork like making transcripts or dealing with their state. They probably don’t need a consultant’s help.

Some homeschool parents don’t question that they’re doing the right thing by homeschooling. They’re sure the kids are learning and that they’re doing the best they can. They look at how their kids are tackling high school and feel confident about their ability to get into the colleges they’ll want. Those families probably don’t need a consultant either.

Of course, if you don’t love to research or are feeling overwhelmed by the options, don’t have kids who have it easy all the time, struggle to get organized and make sure you have all the right records, or feel anxious about homeschooling, then those are things we help with!

Most of the stuff we learned, we learned by working with our own kids and spending those hours of time researching every curriculum, method, and trick out there. If you aren’t one of the lucky homeschoolers who only has smooth sailing, then we can help you with individual attention. We call ourselves muses because we want to inspire you to be your best. If you’re struggling, we can do that in a way that all that overwhelming information and advice on the internet just can’t.

We hope you are sailing smoothly through your homeschool journey and are here for the tips! But if you’re not, connect with us! We’d love to help.
